Interduction ( परिचय )

               गणित एक  भाषा हो . मानव जीवनमा विना गणित कुनै कुरा सम्भब छैन .सामान्य मानिस हरुले गणित भन्ने बित्तिकै अंकगणितिय क्रियाहरु जस्तै, जोड, घटाऊ, गुणन, भाग आदि भन्ने सम्झन्छन . यस्ता क्रियाहरु उनीहरुको दैनिक जीवनमा प्रयोग भएको हुन्छ तिनीहरुका लागि यो नै गणित को ठिक अर्थ हो . यो सम्झनु  पर्छ कि अंक गणित सम्पूर्ण गणित विज्ञान को एउटा शाखा मात्र हो.

       Broadly speaking: Mathematics is that is done and has been for the last four thousand years by mathematicians.

Definitions of Mathematics:

•  Mathematics is a ways of thinking a way of organizing , analyzing, and synthesizing a body of data.
• Mathematics is the study  of patterns. It is through mathematical description that regularities and similarities in nature can often be classified.
• Mathematics is the language of science and as such uses carefully defined terms and symbolic representation that enhance our ability.
• Mathematics is an art. As in other arts, mathematics is characterized by order and internal consistency . Mathematics is Queen of all sciences.
• Mathematics is a body of knowledge in the area of science , with its own symbolism, terminology, content, theorems and techniques.

Nature Of Mathematics Knowledge:

    There are six types of nature

1. Inductive Nature Of Mathematics 
2. Deductive Nature Of Mathematics 
3. Generality Nature Of Mathematics 
4. Applied Nature Of Mathematics
5. Mathematics Is Organized Structure Of Knowledge
6. Mathematics as a Language

Structure Of Mathematical Knowledge:

   Mathematics is the study of mathematical structure. Structure of Mathematics rests  upon its own unique set undefined terms and unproved axioms. As Example: In Arithmetic Mathematics structure - Numeral system, In  Algebraic structure- group, ring, field and victor space, In geometrical structure- Euclidean Geometry, Non-Euclidean geometries and topology etc.
Mathematical structure followed the Inductive and deductive roll.
